VISITORS to RHS Garden Rosemoor will have two reasons to celebrate tomorrow (Friday),with free entry to the gardens and the expertise of London auctioneers Bonhams.
Experts which will be at the garden to value antiques and collectables throughout the day. As well as enjoying the sensational autumn colours of plants such as cornus, acers, liquidambars and many other trees and shrubs in the garden, visitors will be able find more about the events, courses and workshops at the garden in 2014, including craft, food and antiques fairs, music and outdoor theatre, family fun days, garden walks and talks.
Bonhams is one of the world's oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques, and will be at the garden to offer free valuations to any visitors bringing along their special possessions from 11am to 4pm. Its experts will be able to value all kinds of collectables from paintings to jewellery, ornaments, clocks, furniture, and even vintage vehicles.
Sally Charleton, head of site at RHS Garden Rosemoor, said: 'Autumn is such a glorious time of year at the garden, and we're keen to share it with as many people as possible, both our regular visitors and those who may never have explored what Rosemoor has to offer before.'
