THE Walkhampton Flower and Produce Show took place on Saturday, August 29 with the usual high standard of entries being maintained. The event was blessed with a fine day and had good attendance.
The number of new entrants exhibiting this year, at 13, was encouraging and they accounted for 57 out of the total of 435 entries. Even more encouraging was that seven of the new entrants achieved 13 class wins, with these and other new entrants achieving numerous second and third places.
