THE Tavistock Friends of the Children's Hospice South West would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Bill Foster (Bill the Baker) and Pam, his wife, for all their hard work and unstinting generosity in supporting our fundraising efforts over many years.

Bill is a modest man who never really reveals how much he really puts into various charities in our community. However, since 1997, he has collected well over £1,000 for us, as well as helping in many other ways.

Bill, you will be sorely missed, not only for your skills as a master baker, but for your contribution to the whole being of this town.

We hope you will both enjoy your new life and have plenty of time to do the things you've always wanted to do.
