THE score line flattered the home side who scored all of their goals against the run of play in a match that was decided by a very good performance by the Kentisbeare keeper.

Kentisbeare took the lead after 25 minutes when Garry Smith conceded a disputed penalty on the edge of the Zeal penalty area.

Zeal continued to give the home defence problems but conceded a second goal when, from a corner, the ball spun off the luckless Tim Sanderson's shoulder and into the net giving Adam Cann in the Zeal goal no chance.

Zeal went into the second half two-nil down but could have easily been several goals ahead. As in the first half Zeal created more opportunities in the second half but again could not beat the home keeper.

Kentisbeare made the game safe with 15 minutes left when a scramble in the home side penalty area was cleared and a mix up in the Zeal defence allowed the home side to break and score their third goal putting the match beyond Zeal's grasp.

This week: Kentisbeare home KO 3pm.
