CALLINGTON Town Council and the Rotary and Lions clubs are working together to help secure the future of Age Concern's popular weekly lunch in the town.
Flyers are being inserted in the next town newsletter which is distributed to 4,000 households in and around Callington.
A person is desperately needed to organise and supervise the weekly lunch and get-together which is currently held in the Mustard Seed hall. A team of experienced cooks are also needed and new members on the committee.
Funding sources are being looked into and the town council has suggested using the town hall as an alternative venue with its modern facilities.
