Tavistock U7s Ivybridge U7s TWO games were played and as expected, they were both close, with neither team getting the upper hand. The more experienced side was sent into battle first to met fierce resistance from the Ivybridge defensive line but Lachlan Fulton broke through the ranks on a number of occasions to run in three tries. He had great support from his team this week which included Joe Burbage, Jude White, Jason Blake, Morgan Turnock and Jack Smyly.  Tom Pearson and Noah Berridge both also went on to score a try each to level the game five tries all. The second game again went to a four all draw with Ollie Noy Scott scoring a sensational try for Tavistock, but it was solid tagging from Jessica Dent, Theo Jenkins, Lewis Mcdowell, Matthew Waddington and Harry Edwards which kept Tavistock in the game. It was left to Noah Gargett to score a try in his debut game.   Tavistock U7s 7 tries Liskeard U7s 5 tries The rain, mud and cold winds didn't put the Tavistock U7s off their stride as the score reflected the game, with both teams finding it difficult to make the tags in such poor conditions.  Tavistock showed great team spirit and worked very hard supporting each other when the breakthroughs came. Jude White set the ball rolling with two early tries and then scores from Morgan Turnock, Tom Pearson, Lachlan Fulton contributed to a successful game.  There was an outstanding individual try from Noah Berridge deep from his own half and a darting scoring run from Ollie Noy Scott late in the second half. Tavistock's Matthew Waddington  and Macsen Haynes-Parry who showed true grit to run keep the ball alive and push on forwards.
