THE Okehampton U3A will be digging into the archives at their next meeting when they are given a talk on family history. February's well attended meeting of the University of the Third Age saw a talk delivered by the Driving Standards Agency on 'driving today' and full of useful information. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 2.30pm in Fairplace Church Hall. Deborah Phillips, archivist from the Devon Records Office, will host the session on the subject of family history. It will be followed by tea and will give people the opportunity to meet and mix with the members.
