Yelverton U13s Typhoons v Plympton St Mary U13s
ON Friday evening, Yelverton U13 Typhoons played Plympton St Mary in the quarter final.
Batting first, good innings from Jay Warner (46 not out), Ben Pearson (28) and Henry Lopes (45), saw the Typhoons amass 165-3 off their alloted 20 overs. In reply Plympton could only muster 67 all-out to leave Typhoons victorious by 98 runs.
Matt Adams took 2-12 and Anthony Hayward, Charlie Carter, Matt Smith, Jay Warner and Henry Lopes all took a wicket apiece.
The Typhoons will now play Whitchurch U13s on the morning of Sunday, September 5, with the winners meeting Cornwood in the final in the afternoon.
