OKEHAMPTON made the long journey to Twyford to play out a tough and exciting match.
The home side were quick to start and their early chances were thwarted only by great covering from centre backs Kimber and Wonnacott.
Despite resilient defending from Ward and Chapman at left and right backs Twyford converted one of their many attacks.
Okehampton looked dangerous on the break with King and Clarke pushing forward, supported by the strong Woods. Prouse was unlucky not to level the score, his shot blocked by the keeper.
Okehampton continued to defend stoutly and outstanding saves from Herrod-Taylor in goal kept the score at 1-0.
But Twyford scored again to lead 2-0 at the break.
Okehampton came out to prove a point and began to attack with more menace. For the first time in the game they put Twyford under pressure and moved the ball to the hardworking duo of Matravers and Arnot up front. Off-the-line clearances from Woods and Wonnacott as well as more good goalkeeping from Herrod-Taylor kept the home side at bay.
Another quick break from Okehampton led to Arnot being fouled in the area. Rob Clarke ably converted.
In the last ten minutes Okehampton pushed hard for an equaliser with King and Kimber always looking dangerous.

CREDITON kicked off and immediately Okehampton goalkeeper Will Ingram was called to make an important save. Crediton continued the pressure and were rewarded with their first goal.
Harry Smith for Okehampton pounced on a short ball played through into the Crediton goalmouth but a fine save denied Okehampton. In a game that went from end to end it was Okehampton's turn to score next with a chip over the keeper's head from Bradley Ausden.
Ingram made several more important saves despite suffering from tonsilitis. Crediton scored their second with a well placed shot.
Within a few minutes Okehampton had made it 2-2 with a Smith cross converted into a goal by Jacob Ayris.
With five minutes to half-time Ausden fired a shot at goal which rolled across the line.
Crediton piled on the pressure but Okehampton's defence held firm to stay in front at half-time.
The second half started with both teams determined to win the ball. Okehampton had two valiant shots on goal but failed to find the back of the net. Crediton scored to bring it level. Okehampton came straight back with continued pressure on the Crediton defence but against the run of play Crediton scored to take the lead again.
Crediton were awarded a free kick but Ingram made another fine save. A pass into the Crediton goalmouth from Jacob Ayris allowed Jordan Lee to score for Okehampton. A fine pass from William Searle led to a superb goal from Okehampton's Smith.
Again Crediton came back at Okehampton and found the back of the net to level the score at the final whistle.
