THE sublimely funny Matt Harvey and the very silly Jerri Hart will be performing almost live at Brentor Village Hall on Saturday, October 30 at 8pm.
Matt, part of Radio 4?s ?One Night Stanza? and Jerri, ex-Rhythm Doctor, interweave comedy, poetry and music, taking it in turns to entertain and confuse as the show inches towards the oasis of the interval.
Matt?s poems and patter tackle such topics as mistaken identity, tea-bags and self-defence in a wryly witty style. Jerri?s mind, hands and trumpet range freely over subjects as diverse as mice, shopping and ceremonial trifle.
Between them they create a world which is skewed and often painfully funny.
