A MAN suffered burns to his face in a kitchen fire which broke out at a house in Oak Road, Okehampton. Firefighters were called to the scene at around 5pm on Friday. The occupant of the house had suffered burns to his face and was taken to hospital by ambulance. His son had also sustained minor burns to his arms, but did not require treatment.
