Harry Thompson, aged 12, from Buckland Monachoram and Pete Jarman, 13, from Tavistock are world record breakers, after taking part in the UK-wide three-legged race at Plymouth Hooe.
The target was to smash the record for the world's largest three-legged race across multiple venues.
The event was held on Family Week Sports Day, part of the National Family Week. Harry also won a family ticket to Mount Edgecombe and Pete received a voucher for Quaywest waterpark.
