THEATRE goers are in for a double treat when the Phoenix Youth Theatre perform their annual play in Bridestowe Village Hall tomorrow (Friday, July 2) and Saturday.

They are performing two plays - the Main Attraction and Something Terrible Has Happened - with the curtain going up at 8pm; however a barbecue, with bar, will precede the show at 6.30pm.

The first play, the Main Attraction, is about an ailing circus who are desperately seeking a new star to bring the dwindling crowds flocking back in.

The second play is an intriguing murder mystery called Something Terrible Has Happened where Swan's Vaudeville Players have to take refuge in Mrs Terrible's guest house when their coach gets stuck in thick snow - and one by one they get murdered! The play involves audience participation, inviting them at intervals to guess who the murderer is.

Tickets are not for sale as admission is on the door only — prices, £4 for adults, £3.25 for the U12s. Be warned, be early as last year's performance was sold out!
