IF you are a carer and live in the West Devon area, there is an opportunity to have some fun at a free two-day event being planned on May 23 and June 6 at Bere Alston Church Hall. Carers will be able to join a workshop group looking at how they can be heard, get their own way and make a difference for themselves and other carers. It will be a chance to forget about the responsibilities carers have day-to-day and to concentrate on themselves. On the second day the group will build on their ideas. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will be financial help towards travel and respite costs. Early booking is recommended.
