STANNARY Brass Band will be performing in the bandstand in the Meadows, Tavistock this Sunday, as part of a 'meet the band' afternoon.

From 2pm instruments will be available for budding musicians of any age to try. Band members will be happy to answer questions and they hope they may recruit some new players. Experience is not necessary — just give it a try.

A new CD recording is the next project for the band when enough money has been raised which should be an exciting experience for members, especially for the younger players.
