IN the most exciting game since their section was formed more than three years ago, Horrabridge were just beaten by an excellent Trophyman side who had already been crowned league champions.
Playing uphill in the first half, Horrabridge came under pressure but against the run of play went ahead with a goal from Sam Cooper.
Trophyman equalised straight away only for Horrabridge to re-take the lead with a goal from the improving Sam Branch. Cooper completed his hat-trick with two goals either side of half-time, putting Horrabridge 4-1 up.
Trophyman showed why they were league champions and scored four excellent goals in the next 15 minutes.
Horrabridge almost saved the game in the dying minutes but two excellent chances finished just wide of the mark.
