TAVISTOCK Town FC?s presentation night was a busy evening. As the club has a wide age range of squads the evening was split into two sections with the juniors on first. These were ages from under 6 through to mini soccer squads at under 10.

Dave Keast, football development officer with Devon County FA, presented the trophies. Dave had been a tremendous help with advice and procedures to follow when the club first started.

The second session consisted of all 11-a-side squads U11 through to U15. While the juniors are important for the club?s future it is these squads that mark how it is progressing and this year was possibly the most successful in terms of results and league positions.

The U14s were just pipped into second place in their league and the U15s got to their second successive league cup final with the U13s being voted the most sporting team in their league.

For this section of the evening the club was privileged to have Robin Fenner, chairman Tavistock AFC attending, despite his health problems. He was a tremendous help when the club first started.
