IT was trophy night for members of Tavistock Camera Club recently when the annual meeting and prizegiving was held at the season's finale of its indoor meetings.
Prizes were awarded for both A and B groups for individual competitions and for the 'Photographer of the Year'.
Keith Urro, who competes in the A group, was presented the 'Photographer of the Year' trophy by chairman Stuart Black.
Also being presented with the B group 'Photographer of the Year' trophy was Angela Roberts by Stuart.
Tavistock Camera Club holds three evening outdoor meetings during the summer and this year will be going to Coombe Sculpture Garden, Bradstone, on June 19, Tavistock Trout Fishery on July 3 and The Garden House on July 17.
The club's new season begins on Wednesday, September 4 at the United Reformed Church, Russell Street, and new members of any experience will be welcomed. Details of club, membership are available on the website http://www.tavistockcameraclub.org.uk">www.tavistockcameraclub.org.uk
l In conjunction with two other local photographers, Keith Urro will be exhibiting examples of his work at the Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, between July 20 and 28. The exhibition is open to all.
