TAVISTOCK Rugby FC mini/Junior section is holding its year end presentation on Sunday.
All age groups will in attendance from U7s-U16s, including U12s and U15s girls and all members and their athletic parents are being asked to bring their kit with them as a tag rugby challenge will take place simultaneously.
The presentation starts at 11.30am with squads being called up at different times for their presentation. All players will get a medal and two players from each squad will receive a trophy. A RFU representative will be making a formal presentation of the RFU 'seal of approval; to the club. The different age groups will join up for some tag rugby games with the parents and coaches playing for a trophy, which will hopefully become an annual event. The kitchen will be open from 11am and it is hoped to have a barbecue later in the afternoon, weather permitting.
There will be some guest presenters, including senior chairman and secretary Nigel Larcombe-Williams and Jeff Lawson and some first team players. There may even be a mystery guest who plays for a premiership club!
