CHRISTMAS trees from Burrator Forest have been donated to the NSPCC by South West Lakes Trust to help raise funds for the charity. Plymouth Pavilions, Theatre Royal and the National Marine Aquarium received the trees from the NSPCC along with a donation box to raise money for the children?s charity. Over the nine years, almosty £70,000 has been raised which is used to help NSPCC provide local services to help protect children, such as the Plymouth-based Devon Child Protection Centre. Trees have also been donated to Peverell Park Methodist Church, Meavy School, Shopmobilty and the Macmillan Centre at Derriford Hospital.
