THE Tamar Valley AONB team is looking for volunteer wardens to take care of its two main trail routes in the Tamar Valley.

The flagship trail is the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail — a local resource stretching approximately 40 miles in total, from Tamerton Foliot to Launceston, with extensions to Lifton and Kit Hill.

The Tamar Trails are 17km of off road walking and multi-use routes through the woods, located on the Devon side of the River Tamar and encompass mining sites of the east Tamar Valley near Gunnislake.

Occasional training and special events would be organised, giving volunteers the chance to meet with other like-minded volunteers.
