CALLINGTON Museum will be opening its doors again tomorrow (Good Friday) after the winter break. The museum in Liskeard Road, which is set to be revamped this year with money from the Heritage Lottery Fund, will be open from 10am to 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays until October 29. The exhibition will be ?The Venning Posters? ? a display of some of the advertising posters printed by James Venning at the beginning of the 20th century which reflect life in Callington and area at that time. There is a permanent display of china from the Victorian Chapel in which the museum is housed and a model of Callington Railway Station, artefacts and documents. Talks and visits of historical interest are arranged throughout the year. For a short time in the summer, the museum will be closed for a complete refurbishment and will re-open with a new display and possibly a new name and role to play in Callington.
