TWO appointments were made last week by Okehampton Town Council to represent it on local charities.

Mike Davies was endorsed by the council at a policy and resources committee meeting as a trustee with the Okehampton United Charity.

The council also endorsed Derek Drew as a trustee for the Simmons Homes Charity.
