FIREFIGHTERS were called to Northfield Road, Okehampton, on Sunday (May 25) after a report of a fire. Two crews from Okehampton attended just after 9.30am and found a building of three floors, used as a fish and chip shop, heavily smoke logged. A small fire within the chip shop on the ground floor of the terraced building was extinguished by firefighters.
