WOMEN in West Devon are being invited to join a new WI being set up to cover several areas.

At a well attended meeting at the Mary Tavy Inn recently, the decision was made to start a new WI.

It will meet in the evening and will cover the area around Mary Tavy, Brentor, Peter Tavy, Tavistock and Lydford.

A formation meeting will be held on Thursday February 2 at 7.30pm, upstairs at the Trout and Tipple in Tavistock, subject to confirmation. The venue and day for the new WI's regular meetings has not yet been decided.
