TAVISTOCK Tennis Club hosted the Lawn Tennis Associated sanctioned grade four Junior Tennis Tournament last week. There were not as many entrants as in previous years but rain stopped an awful lot of play throughout the week. The juniors played in a mature, well behaved and professional way in spite of the difficulties and didn't allow the many stoppages to put them off their strokes or to dampen their enthusiasm. The participants came from as far afield as France and Lancashire, though the majority came from Devon and Cornwall.
