IF you loved the sound of the great eighties' band, Guns n' Roses, there is a musical treat waiting for you in December, when the UK's number one GNR tribute band, Guns 2 Roses takes over the stage of The Wharf, Tavistock on Friday December 8 at 8pm. Formed in 2002 and based in London, Guns 2 Roses have played to capacity audiences throughout Britain, Europe and the USA. Recently, they performed in front of 25,000 fans at the Matthew Street Festival in Liverpool and they have appeared at most of the theatres and clubs which were favourite venues of GNR in the 1980s. Guns 2 Roses have been approved by various members of Guns 'n' Roses and sometimes the original GNR drummer, Steven Adler, even sits in to play with them. The tribute group musicians are not just 'sound clones' of the original band, they also look amazingly like Axl and the other GNR members, as they blast out stage performances, which are authentic down to the smallest detail. And in a weekend of live music, the fantastic Status Clone follows next day, December 9. Don't miss it! Box Office 01822 611166.
