WHITCHURCH Primary School celebrated the upcoming Olympics by holding an Olympic themed week.

Many parents have volunteered to run sporting sessions during the week with the children, along with swimming sessions and a special assembly based on the seven Olympic Values.

The week was started by a visit from Adam Tofield, an Olympic torch bearer in Plymouth, who brought his torch for the children to see. Thanks were expressed to everyone who helped out during the week.
