OCRA Gymnastic Club excelled at the Devon Gymnastics Competition held at Colyford recently.
All the performers from OCRA came in the top three places and the club had four first places.
The results were: Under 9s Solo — Maddy Vallance (1st), Chloe Blackmur (2nd); Under 11s Solo — Lauren Blackmur (1st); Boys Solo — Josh Bush (2nd); Under 9s Duet — Maddy Vallance/Chloe Blackmur (joint 1st), Chelsea Piddington/Racheal Piddington (2nd), Fern Field/Anna Cherrington (3rd); Novice Duets — Lauren Blackmur/Julia Owen (1st), Josh Bush/Clare Reynolds (2nd).
The success has been achieved with hard work by top coaches Peter and Somer Mills who work with children of all abilities in developing gymnastics.
OCRA Gym Club meets on Fridays at Okehampton Community College Gymnasium with sessions for three to five year olds from 5pm to 5.45pm, six to eight years from 5.45pm to 6.30pm. And nine plus improvers from 6.30pm to 7.15pm. If you would like more details please contact OCRA on 01837 54546.
