A CHARITY toddle in aid of a local nursery school saw more than £500 raised to provide children with new play equipment and toys.
Children and parents from Lifton Toddler Group walked almost a mile from Lifton School to the local Strawberry Fields.
Once there, Strawberry Field owner Jo Mounce gave all the children ice-cream before sending them off to toddle back to the school where they enjoyed a teddy bears? picnic.
Many of the toddlers wore fancy dress with a prize for the best going to 2-year-old Angelina Grylls who came dressed in a North American Indian costume.
The group meets on Tuesdays during term time between 1.15pm and 3pm at Lifton School. Everyone aged 0 to 4 years is welcome. For more information contact Lisa Baker on 01566 783399.
