LOW altitude space flights for teddy bears are among the attractions at the Peter Tavy Village Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday.
Flights will launch from the Teddy Bears? Space Centre and are being organised by the Dartmoor Teddy Bears Dangerous Sports Association, which is now an established part of the event.
In previous years, teddy bears joining their owners have had the opportunity to try out bungee jumping from the church tower, a commando death slide and being hurled from a medieval siege catapult.
The day of family fun and entertainment also includes a duck race, Dartmoor step dancing which will be performed on a recently restored hay wagon, rural skills and sheep shearing.
The village hall and neighbouring chapel will be full of stalls offering home-made cakes, jams and preserves, plants and garden produce, books and a treasure- trove of ?white elephants? in ?Granny?s Attic?.
Meanwhile, visitors can try their hand at the many traditional games available, including a coconut shy and skittles. There will be refreshments all day and a quiz evening.
All funds raised raised will be divided between the village hall, St Peter?s Church and the Methodist Chapel.
