Duchy division five Gunnislake reserves 3 Biscovey reserves 0 GUNNISLAKE recorded another fine victory against a Biscovey side that is just one place below them in the league. After an even opening to the match Gunnislake took the lead when central defenders Steve Gaggini and Dean Martin, coming forward for a set piece, combined for the latter to score. Gaggini had a shot that found its way to Martin, who flicked the ball home. Good work from Allan Doidge produced the other two goals for the home side. The first enabled Aaron Pethick to score while Doidge's surging run and cross led to a Biscovey defender turning the ball in to his own net for the third. Another solid display and yet another clean sheet leaves Gunnislake still very much in the title hunt, just seven points behind the leaders with four games in hand. This Saturday the reserves make the short trip to Stoke Climsland whilst the premier team host Dobwalls. Both games kick off at 2.30pm.
