KELLY College held its 12th annual senior citizens' tea party earlier this month, when guests were invited from Crelake Residential Home, Spring House, Harewood House, West Devon Homes, Armada Court, Springfields Residential Home and Parkwood Court retirement apartments.

The 75 guests were treated to afternoon tea and a performance by the orchestra, who played music from the recent production of 'Oh What a Lovely War'.

One lady of 93 had been to all 12 teas and all the guests enjoyed their visit. Students from all the houses at Kelly were involved — from making flower arrangements to serving tea.

Many students regularly visit residential homes as part of their community service for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
