THE annual Bridestowe ram roast takes place on Saturday August 6 on the village sporting green from 2pm.

As well as the ram roast, all the old favourites return, including the beer tent, barbecue, children's races, refreshments, bouncy castle and community and charity stalls.

There will also be a dog agility demonstration, a bird of prey exhibition and live music from Sam and Friends and One Point Five.

Admission costs 50p for adults and is free for under 12s. Everyone is welcome.
