Kingsbridge Colts 34 Tavistock Colts 21 TAVISTOCK Colts travelled with the usual core of players to play Kingsbridge in a 13-a-side game. Winger Braithewaite continued his recent try scoring feats after beating three defenders in the in-goal area to touch down under the posts. Half time score was 15-7 to the home side, through two Kingsbridge tries and a penalty. Tim Child showed flair on his wing, scoring one try and narrowly missing another when he chased his own kick ahead with only one boot on. Second rows Wheatley and Wadland, unfettered by a back row, laid a good base of possession for Braithewaite?s second try when he intercepted a high kick ahead to race from his own 22 metre area to touch down. Kingsbridge scored a try after a lineout drive but their late try gave them the flattering final score of 34-21. Vanstone saw his many hours of solo kicking practice reward him with all three conversions and a narrowly missed penalty from the 10 metre line.
