A YOUNG boy did his bit to help raise money to improve Tavistock Meadows by holding a litter pick recently.
Eight year old Finley Wilkins-Lothian wanted to help fundraise for the Meadows Makeover team and decided to do a litter pick in the park.
Finley's mother Amy said: 'We are friends with a couple of people on the Meadows Makeover committee and Finley said he wanted to do something to help raise money.
'He came up with the idea all on his own and he has raised around £120 through sponsorship from friends and family.
'I am super proud of him and he was over the moon with how much money he raised.'
