THE next Tidy Tavi litter picking foray will set out on Saturday, October 6.

Volunteers hope to cover the centre of town and Bishopsmead Estate.

Anyone wishing to help can join the group outside the Wharf at 9.50am. The group for Bishopsmead will meet at the junction of Hawthorne Road — which leads off the main Plymouth Road into the estate — and Hazel Road, which is first on the right.

Anyone wishing to join the Bishopsmead group is asked to let organisers know

The group is delighted to see that in addition to the hard work put in by town council staff and Tidy Tavi volunteers, efforts are continually made by some businesses and individuals to keep the level of litter in the town to a minimum.
