JUNIOR committee members of the Spooners and West Dartmoor Pony Club strutted their stuff down a catwalk recently, in a fundraising fashion show for Devon Air Ambulance.
The group of 13 to 16 year olds arranged the event themselves and managed to get Patch and Acre in Tavistock to host it for them.
Lucy Underwood, on behalf of the junior committee, said: 'It was fantastic to see the amount of work that everyone did — the parents, children and even the three local models.
'One was former pony club member Lance Ashton, who models for Gingersnaps, international model Tommy Viles, who models for IMD International and Mitch Wingham.
'These boys were brilliant, fantastic with the children and helped out enormously — all for free.'
Canapés for the event were donated by Masterchef 2008 winner James Nathan from the Green Room in St Columb Major.
Lucy expressed thanks to the huge number of people who helped the children with the event, including the children themselves who commentated, modelled and ran the raffle, the parents for helping with the food and all the businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes.
