AN AFFORDABLE housing scheme for Drakewalls has been supported by Calstock Parish Council. Devon and Cornwall Housing Association has submitted the plan for 15 homes together with the construction of a new access at Delaware Road. Cllr Rachel Puddiphatt said from the plans the houses looked to be well spaced and well screened with two car parking spaces each. 'The local area does need affordable housing and half the homes will be to rent with the other half shared ownership,' she said.
