Okehampton v Roborough
A FINE spell of bowling from Neil Clift could not prevent Okehampton from defeat against leaders Roborough, who took 7 wickets for 55 runs.
Okehampton batted first but were all out for 111 runs. Roborough beat this score with the loss of seven wickets to win by 3 wickets.
Okehampton lost 3 early wickets but Colin Ewen and Nick Goodchild put up a score of 74 runs for a fourth wicket stand.
The disappointing thing for Okehampton was that their last six wickets fell for just 28 runs. The last six batsmen did not score a run between them. Roborough's batsmen found it difficult to get runs against some fine bowling and fielding by Okehampton. But Roborough in the end managed to get the runs to win.
