FOLLOWING success at the Devon County Championships in May, three Under 13 boys from Tavistock Athletic Club were selected to represent Devon at the Southern Counties Athletics meeting on July 28.

This took place at the Kingsmeadow Stadium, Kingston-on-Thames, with 13 counties competing.

Jimmy Hubbard was chosen for discus and shot, Harry Wyatt for 80m, and Matthew Drage for high jump.

On a hot and humid day all Tavistock boys performed well and helped the Devon team gain fifth place overall.
