THISTLES faced an unbeaten Tregorrick Park team that have scored 83 goals and won 15 out of their previous 16 games.
Thistles held firm until Tregorrick scored a well worked goal after eight minutes. A soft penalty three minutes later was almost saved by Thistles keeper Isaac Jeffries. Tregorrick scored a superb third after 22 minutes. Thistles steadied themselves and had a few chances to score. Tregorrick then showed why they are top of the league when three attacks produced three goals in three minutes to make it 0-6. Thistles responded superbly with a goal from their player of the match Toby Scanlan.
Thistles were not overawed by the opposition and showed an excellent second half performance with the Tregorrick keeper making several saves to keep Thistles at bay. Tregorrick did score one more before Thistles' keeper Dan Poole made an outstanding save.
