MAY I draw your readers? attention to a challenge made by Devon Air Ambulance Trust to the people of Devon ? to drink 1.3 million cups of coffee at £1 per cup, in an unusual location.

Tavistock WI propose to dispense coffee at the Pimple, Whitchurch Down, between 10.30 -1.30 on Wednesday August 27. We would be grateful for the support of anyone who cares to join us.

To guarantee a really hot cup it might be wise to bring a flask of boiling water, but we?ll do our best anyway and even provide biscuits for dogs and their people.

It should be fun as well as raising funds for DAAT.
