TAVISTOCK Parish Church will be celebrating its largest confirmation for more than ten years this Sunday. Eleven individuals from the parish will be confirmed by the Rt Rev John Ford, Bishop of Plymouth, in a service on June 15. The service will be even bigger, however, for parishioners will also be joined by another 16 candidates from Kelly College. In addition, the bishop will baptise four infants, and affirm another three parishioners in their faith. The Rev Michael Brierley, priest in charge at St Eustachius, said: 'It's going to be an amazing service. 'From young Evie, who's barely a few months old, to Simon, who's 55, we'll be marking the journey of faith for thirty people. 'It's a great testimony to the vibrancy of faith in Tavistock — a positive force in people's lives, helping to make the world a better place.' All are warmly welcome at the service at St Eustachius' Church, which begins at 10 am.
