Tavistock v Axminster
TAVISTOCK won the toss and put Axminster in to bat. They had a good start of 45 before Andy Kaitiff caught Garner off the bowling of Andy Gauler (2 for 29)
Wickets fell steadily, Andy Kaitiff taking six wickets off his 12 overs for 48.
Axminster were all bowled out for 146 in 45, as it was a rain reduced 46 over match.
Tavistock then had 47 overs to get the runs and lost Phil Stephens when the score was on 8.
The other opener Pete Jones followed 7 runs later.
This brought Arnie Searle and Dave Manning together for a partnership of 70 when Arnie was out for 38.
Dave was joined by Steve Luffman and in the 42nd over they reached the total.
Dave 45 not out and Steve 30 not out.
This ended the season for Tavistock, with them gaining third place in the A division league.
