MAY I, on behalf of Lamerton Parish Hall committee, thank the Tavistock Musical Company for performing their latest production, ?Spread a Little Happiness? at Lamerton Sports and Community Centre on May 19 and so generously donating the proceeds totalling £563.80 to our new centre? It was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. The winners of the lyrics quiz, which had been kindly put together by Tim Culverhouse, were Kathryn Hamlet, Mrs Hazel Sargent and Mr and Mrs David Price ? £107 was raised for centre funds. Our next big fundraising event is the annual duck race which is scheduled to take place on Sunday June 17 at 2pm by kind permission of Mr and Mrs W Eggins in Broady Field, Lamerton, which is sitiuated in the centre of the village.
