ACCLAIMED theatre group, MOMO, set about getting its recycling message across to both Okehampton and Tavistock Colleges' Year 7 students in their production 'You're Rubbish!' last week. During the performances, which combine science and slapstick comedy to highlight recycling issues, students were bombarded with a stream of information on how they can reduce the amount of waste they produce, re-use items or recycle them – the three Rs.  At the end of the performances the students were asked to recall what they had learnt as items appear on an interactive 'Generation Game' conveyer belt.  Cllr Chris Jenkins, Chairman of the borough council's environment and communities committee, said:  'Well done MOMO for demonstrating such an important issue as the environment through the creative and entertaining medium of drama.  It is great that the next generation have learnt a totally different meaning for the 3 Rs.' The event was facilitated by West Devon Borough Council, and funded by the County Council.
