CHILDREN from Exbourne Primary School put on a brilliant musical for their Christmas production this year, carrying on regardless of illness affecting many of the cast.
The musical — 'Bethlehem Baby' — was based on a traditional nativity and was enjoyed by all those who attended.
Head teacher Julie Luckhurst said: 'The children were all absolutely brilliant.
'The cast varied immensely because of illness — we never had the same line-up of the three Kings and at one point I even had to take on a role because so many of the children had been sent home. Our Herod stand-in, Jade Barnett, deserves a special mention, after taking on the role with just an hour's notice!'
