CHILDREN from two Tavistock schools were last week treated to a special theatre performance in the town hall. Pupils from St Rumon?s Infants School attended the performance of The Big Catch in the morning while St Peter?s Junior School saw it in the afternoon. The productions were staged by The Openwide Theatre Company and organised by Tavistock mayor Anne Johnson and town hall staff for the mayor?s Christmas performance for local schools. Cllr Johnson expressed thanks to the schools, and hoped the London-based theatre company will return next year.
