AFTER last year's successful launch of Dartfest, MED Theatre is proud to be hosting this annual festival of young people's plays for a second year.
The evening will comprise two different halves — the first will see a new one act play, Deceased Truth, an 'on-the-edge-of-your-seat' detective story about a woman who meets trouble on Dartmoor, exploring themes such as murder, love, jealousy and even vampires.
The second half is a revival of the comic play Shakespeare on Dartmoor that MED Theatre's Wild Nights Young Company performed in Ashclyst Forest as part of the National Trust's Revolution '08 Festival in September.
MED Theatre encourages young people to create their own work from idea to performance.
Dartfest 08 will take place on Saturday December 6 at 7.30pm at Moretonhampstead Parish Hall.
